Who we are

[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as Warda, of Moat Mall, 5 N Main St, Naas West, Naas, Co. Kildare, W91 VA89, Ireland, is the data controller for the information described here. Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] or on +353 45 810096.

What we collect

  • Order details — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, what you ordered and the collection date.
  • Custom cake requests — the size, flavour, message, any allergy notes, and a reference photo if you upload one.
  • Payment records — the amount, the date, and an identifier from Square. We never see or store your card number.
  • Nothing else. There are no customer accounts, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies on this site.

Why we hold it

  • To bake and hand over your order, and to reach you if something changes — this is the contract between us.
  • To send your order confirmation and a collection reminder the day before.
  • To keep accounting and tax records of sales, which we are required to do.

Who else sees it

  • Square, who process the card payment and hold the payment record.
  • [EMAIL PROVIDER], who deliver the confirmation and reminder emails.
  • [HOSTING PROVIDER], where the site and its database run.
  • Nobody else. We do not sell or share your details, and we do not send marketing unless you ask us to.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept for [N] years to satisfy tax and accounting rules. Custom cake reference photos are deleted once the order is complete. Baskets are stored in your own browser and never reach us until you place the order.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Staff signing in to the admin get a session cookie, which is strictly necessary for that to work. Your basket is kept in your browser’s local storage until you check out or clear it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL] and we will respond within one month.

If you think we have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963 — dataprotection.ie.
