Orders

• An order is placed when you complete checkout and pay. We will email a confirmation; that email is the record of the contract between us.
• Until payment completes, your slot is held only briefly and may be released — see the FAQs.
• We may refuse or cancel an order if we cannot bake it safely or in time. If we do, you get a full refund.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in euro and include VAT where it applies.
• Card payments are processed by Square. We do not receive or store your card details.
• For custom cakes we quote a price first. We may take a deposit to start work, with the balance due at collection.

Collection

• We do not deliver. Orders are collected in store on the date you chose, during opening hours.
• Anyone with your order reference may collect on your behalf.
• Please collect on the day. We will keep an order beyond it where the cake allows, but we cannot promise it, and uncollected orders are not refunded.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

• Ask as early as you can. Before baking begins we can usually change a date or an item.
• Cancellations before we start baking are refunded in full, to the card you paid with.
• Once a cake is made, or once custom work has begun, we may keep some or all of what you paid to cover the ingredients and time already spent.
• None of this affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 if what we gave you was faulty or not as described. Note that the 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases does not apply to food made to your order or to goods that spoil quickly — which covers everything we bake.

Allergens

Our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, milk, eggs, soya and sesame, and we cannot guarantee any item is free from them. Tell us about an allergy before you order. See the allergens page.

Custom cakes

• A request is not an order. We confirm the price, the date and whether we can make it before anything is charged.
• Hand-piped work and decoration vary slightly from any reference photo; we will match it as closely as we can.
• Reference photos you upload must be yours to share with us.

General

These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies.
